Shipping

  • Lay It On Thick Boutique processes all orders using the United States Postal Service (USPS) and UNITED PARCELS SERVICE (UPS)
  • (We are closed Sunday and Monday). Priority /Free Shipping orders are processed within a 48 to 72 hour from the date of purchase.  Orders placed on the weekend, holidays, or when Lay It On Thick Boutique is closed will be processed the next business day.  

 

  • ALL ORDERS WILL REQUIRE A SIGNATURE AT TIME OF  DELIVERY
    To ensure that your package is properly delivered and you receive shipment within the time frame we advertise, please make sure your address is fully entered and correct. Use correct abbreviations and have spaces inserted properly, we do not take responsibility for the incorrect information. If the package is returned non-deliverable we will issue a store credit for the net price of your item(s) minus the shipping charge.

    Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you refuse any shipments from LAYITONTHICKBOUTIQUE.COM, you will be held responsible for the original shipping charges, plus the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund
  • Priority and  Free Shipping is 3 to 5 Business Days
  • If within the continental US, your order should be received within 5 to 7  business days.  Once your order has left our store, we will then send out an email to you with your tracking info.  Please allow 24 hours after the item has left, to track your package online with USPS.
  • Express Shipping time-frame is 1 to 2 business days
    If your order is placed Monday – Friday by 12 PM EST, your order will be shipped the same day.  You can expect to receive your item 1-2 business days unless you live in a 2-day area Express Mail Area.  (Contact your local post office to check your area).  Shipping and Handling Fees vary for Express Orders; please utilize the shipping calculator for the exact amount. 


  • Unverifiable Addresses
    Should we have problems verifying your address using the USPS tracking system, your order processing may be delayed.  Please use the same formatting that the USPS uses when delivering your mail.  Include apartment or suite Numbers and always make sure you are using the correct zip code and city.    
  • International Shipping
  • We only  ship within the united states at this time.
  • AFO/FPO
    Yes we do not ship to APO/FPO addresses.  

 

  • Shipping to an Alternate Address
  • Because cardholder security is important to us; Lay It On Thick Boutique does not allow shipping to an address that is different that your credit card billing address.  Any attempts to use a different address (such as work/friends house) will result in a pending authorization.  This pending authorization will automatically be refunded within 3 to 5 business days and your order will not be processed. 
  • Returned Orders
    You have 7 business days from the date you received your order to return your items. Please use the address on the invoice to return your item.  We find that the USPS Flat rate box is the less inexpensive shipping method when returning your item.  Remember to keep record of your tracking number. Once your item is received, please allow 24/48 hours for your return to be processed.  We will send your exchanged item or email you a gift certificate code that can be used on the site. ( ALSO PLEASE SEE OUR RETURN POLICY)
  • SOMETHING WRONG? 
    Upon receipt, please inspect your order immediately. If you believe you have received DEFECTIVE merchandise, you must contact us within 3 days at orders@layitonthickboutique.comso we may address the issue. We cannot make exceptions once you have had the merchandise in your care for a longer period, have washed it or worn it. We inspect every single item that comes through our warehouse to try to avoid such issues as much as possible.
  • Refused Packages
    If your package refused or return  from USPS; you're responsible for the shipping cost to re-ship package. Lay It On Thick Boutique does not issue refunds. 
  • Lost Packages 
    Lay It On Thick Boutique is not responsible for lost packages due to USPS/ UPS error. Lay It On Thick Boutique does not issue refunds or store credit.
