RETURNS/ REFUNDS POLICY

***** DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE GRANTED AT THIS TIME****

Lay It On Thick Boutique is a quality  conscience business; therefore if you are not 100% happy with an article of clothing, you are able to make a return within 7 days of receiving your delivered order.  An online store credit will be issued via the email you provided with your order. Once we have received your return please allow up to 72 hours for processing. NO CASH OR CREDIT CARD REFUNDS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SHIPPING COST FOR RETURNS.

Our policy is valid for 7 days from the day of delivery. If 7 days have gone by since your completed delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a  return or store credit.

 You may return unworn, unwashed, & unused items within 7 days of the shipment date for STORE CREDIT ONLY.  Items must have all tags attached and be in the original condition. Please be aware if you return a garment that has cigarette smoke, odors , perfume, deodorant, makeup, snags, etc., we will not accept the return and you will be responsible for the shipping cost to return item(s). Lay It On Thick Boutique reserves the right to refuse any return attempt that does not meet the aforementioned requirements.

 

Several types of goods cannot be returned.

We also do not accept returns of intimate or sanitary goods, bodysuits, swimwear or undergarments which ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

 To complete your return, we require an order number and RA number.

 Please do not send your purchase back to us without a RA number.

There are certain situations where NO refunds are not granted: (if applicable)

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • Products that have been opened and the original packaging damaged or destroyed.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery

 

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the status of your STORE CREDIT - whether it has been rejected or approved.

 

If your return is approved, then your store credit will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your account via personal code. This store credit is valid for 1 YEAR. This information will also be confirmed to you by email. 

 

SALE ITEMS

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. All sale items are considered final sales!!

Clearance items, shape wear, jewelry, handbags, other accessories and items purchased from certain promotional sales are final sale items.  Final Sale means that no changes can be made. If you return a final sale item, we will not issue a store credit and you will be responsible for return shipping costs.

 

ITEMS STAMPED FINAL SALE NO RETURN/EXCHANGE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

All purchases made with partial or full gift certificates (Store Credit/Merchandise Credit) are final sale no return or exchange

EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a store credit to the purchaser and he/she will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

If you receive a store credit, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

 Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

 If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

 We do NOT guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We are not held accountable for lost items or damage sustained during shipping. Please consider using tracking as it will be your responsibility to keep up with tracking for your return.
